ALL GENERAL AND  SAFETY RULES APPLY

Track one-way radio is mandatory!

(You will not run without one! Frequency is 154.515vhf)

 BODIES:

 Open to any American made car except 82 or newer Camaro's and Firebird's. No convertibles. Unibodies must be tied together. All cars must have stock factory wheelbase to match year of car. Outside body must be complete, stock or aftermarket. Inside door panel, inner fender, trunk floor, and dash may be removed. Drivers side floor and firewall  must remain in stock location and be made of .20 guage steel or .080 aluminum. Passenger side floor may be raised to allow room for exhaust.  All glass must be removed. Windshield openings must be covered with heavy gauge ½" screen. Front and rear fire wall and rear window shelf must be sealed off from driver compartment with 20-gauge steel, no holes. All doors must be welded or bolted shut. Must have five point racing harness securely fastened with bolts. No solid dark painted bodies will be allowed. No holes in the hood. Window net mandatory. They can not pull apart. Bumpers must be securely fastened to the frame. No "cowcatchers". May run hood scoop no higher than 2".

 NERF BARS:

   One nerf bar allowed but must be tight to door  with no sharp edges at  ends.

BUMPERS:

 All bumpers must be mounted solid. All bumpers ends must be rounded, NO SHARP EDGES! One external hoop allowed on front and rear no wider than frame rails, above and behind face of bumper. Must have tow hook for wrecker (ex. chain or steel loop.) MUST BE ABLE TO SUPPORT WEIGHT OF CAR!

WHEELS AND TIRES:

 Must run the 245/70 American Racer Only. May run a maximum of 8" wheel. Stock Wheels must be reinforced. Minimum of 5 oversized lugs per wheel. Must have a minimum durometer reading of 35.  Any questionable wheel or tire  will be subject to the discretion of the Tech Inspector.  His decision is FINAL !  Beadlock wheel allowed on the right rear only.

SUSPENSION:

 Parts must be stock for car and in stock location.  Cars with struts may run regular shocks if strut is drilled and inoperable with ¼" hole, all fluid is drained, and there is no dampening.

REAR END:

 Stock rear end only. Rear ends from different cars (ford 9”) will be allowed but must use factory mounts for make of car. This includes shock, spring,  and trailing arm mounts.  No limited slip or traction controlled differentials.

FUEL CELL:

 Mandatory fuel cell mounted in trunk area in a safe and secure manner. Must have a fire wall between driver compartment and fuel cell. Must have access to tank.

EXHAUST:

 Street headers are allowed. NO crossovers or 180 degree headers.  Mufflers are mandatory. Any muffler accepted. THIS MEANS YOU MUST HAVE A MUFFLER OF SOME KIND! NO EXCEPTIONS!

BRAKES:

 May run three wheel brakes. Brake and gas pedals must remain in stock location. May run disc brakes on rear with stock cast calipers and rotors. May run aftermarket master cylinders with no remote dial adjustments.

ENGINE:

 Any year engine in any body, must be in model line. Chevy for Chevy, Ford for Ford, Chrysler for Chrysler, etc... Engine must remain in stock location. No after market parts allowed. Engine size, Chevy-350 plus .060 over, Ford-351 plus ..060 over, Mopar-360 plus .060 over. Must have stock stroke and bore. Flat top pistons only, no domes. Stock cast iron, two barrel intakes only. No porting or polishing. Stock two barrel carburetor max. Holley 4412 is allowed. No more than 1 and 1/16th" measured from top of intake to bottom of carb base. Cast iron heads only. No angle plug heads. No after market heads. No stainless steel valves. May run double valve springs. Stock OEM rods only. No titanium or aluminum rods allowed. Maximum rod length will be 5.7". Engines with OEM rod lengths greater than 5.7" will be allowed to meet stock specifications. No polished rods. OEM cranks only, no lightening allowed. No mushroom or roller cam. No roller rocker arms. May pin rocker arm studs. Stock ignition only. Stock stamped steel rockers only. Stock Steel rockers with roller tips allowed.

TRANSMISSION:

 Stock automatic transmission and torque converter only. Stock standard transmission with stock flywheel, clutch, and bell housing. No aluminum parts allowed.

DRIVE SHAFT:

 All drive shafts must be painted white. No aluminum shafts. Drive shaft hoop mandatory, chains and cables will not be accepted.

WEIGHT:

 3000lb minimum weight with driver after race without adding fuel.
Weighed with track scales. Our reading is final.

 

 The top five finishers may be torn down at the promoters discretion, by the track for point races. The car owner should carry a spare gasket set. Anyone found illegal, will lose points and money for that night. If found illegal twice in one year the second offense will be loss of points for the year.
