ALL GENERAL AND SAFETY RULES APPLY

ANYTHING NOT COVERED IN THESE RULES WILL BE UP  TO THE DISCRETION OF THE TRACK OFFICIALS.TRACK OFFICIALS DECISIONS ARE FINAL.

1. All cars must be 4-cylinder non-turbo charged front wheel drive American or foreign stock passenger cars. No pick-up trucks, jeeps, or convertibles permitted. Cars must have full solid steel roof. No spoilers, wings, wind deflectors, etc. permitted. Bodies must remain stock. Wheels may only be maximum 6” wide, steel only. Must have full screen cage to cage with two uprights made of at least 1/8x1” band iron.

2. INTERIOR of cars must be gutted of all combustible materials. All carpeting, doors, and quarter trim panels, headliners, and all seats must be removed. The dash may remain. Drivers seat must have at least a 4-point racing harness and must be securely fastened to frame or cage and in good condition. A four point roll cage is mandatory with at least two driver side door bars with two uprights between each vertical bar, and one door bar on passenger side. Every welded joint must be completely welded with gussets. All four “floor” mounting points must have at least  a 6x6x1/4 “ steel plate welded to bar, with gussets, and bolted with at least four 3/8 bolts (min of grade 5) to floor. Any cage that is deemed unsafe by the tech staff will not be permitted to race.

3. All doors must be welded with a minimum of two 1/8x1x6 steel flats welded along the body side or bolted with 1/8x3x6 steel flats with at least two 5/16 grade 5 bolts. Top of window frames to roof must be welded or bolted with one flat with given dimensions. Front and rear bumper systems must remain stock. No additional bracing or tubing behind bumpers permitted. No plating or bracing of bumper mounting brackets permitted. Bumper shocks must remain functional.

4. NO glass. Plastic trim must be removed from the outside of body. All headlights, taillights, marker lights, grills, mirrors, door handles, mud flaps ,and any miscellaneous exterior plastic must be removed. No additional cutting away or cutting down of any of the cars body permitted.

5. All suspension and steering parts must remain stock. No beefing up or replacing of suspension or steering parts with heavy-duty parts. Stock steel wheels only permitted. Tires must be steel belted radials of 65, 70, 75 series only and must carry DOT number. All tires must be of same size. No recaps, racing recaps or racing tires of any kind permitted. No grooving, siping, or softening of tires will be permitted.

6. All radiators, gas tanks, and batteries must remain in stock location. No additional cooling systems permitted. Radiators must have overflow catch can. Cars must run stock air cleaner assembly. Original gas tanks must remain in stock location, but if you want to use a fuel cell, it must be located in trunk. Trunk floor must remain stock. No lowering of fuel cells. Fuel cell must be held down by at least two 1/8x1” steel straps. Absolutely no home made fuel cells permitted.

7. Cars must have a minimum 20” high number painted on both front doors and roof. They must be painted with a contrasting color.

8. All cars must have an approved fully charged fire extinguisher securely mounted within reach of driver.

9. Driver fire resistant uniforms and a helmet with a face shield are mandatory. A neck brace and fire resistant gloves are recommended.

10. Stock hood latch must be removed and replaced with at least two hood pins. You may install one bar in front of the radiator with supports not extending past front of strut tower. (may not tie into four point cage)

11. Car must weigh at least 2300lbs with driver after race with no fuel added. Track weight reading is final. No protests.
